Friends

This poem is dedicated to all my friends to let them know how special they are :)

I wrote it on 03/01/2005.

They taught me to laugh

They taught me to cry,

They came in my life to teach me something

Which I simply do not know why.

They showed me the bright side of things

They taught me the true meaning of life,

They taught me to live every moment to its fullest

And in any circumstances, never say die.

They became my strength

They became my weakness,

They were the ones whom I could rely on

And they always pulled me out of mess.

They taught me what happiness is

They taught me why to be sad,

They told everything happens for a reason

And after all it is not that bad.

They told me it was okay to cry at times

It was okay to express my feelings,

They taught me everyone needs love

And everyone needed the caring.

They taught me how to love

They taught me how to give,

They changed my life forever

Giving me a purpose to live.

Above all, they taught me how to love myself

And they are indeed great friends,

They came in my life to teach me something

Which I now know why.
